How do white women come to be included in affirmative action?
I do not remember that white women who fight for affirmative action but they have benefited more than black women and there has been fairer than white men in their treatment of minorities. I thought that affirmative action to correct racial injustice. Please enlighten me.
Cites studies indicating Could European-American Women benefit more from it please? Affirmative Action for minorities and women (africian American women included) are usually paid less and have less post-graduate educational opportunities and fewer opportunities promotion. Some programs target affirmitive action of certain groups (Latinos, African Americans, women, etc.) because this minority group could be lack of a field determined (with females, engineering). I was not personally involved in the women's movement of the right, but benefit from it. Many if not most, ethnic minorities today is not personally involved in the Action Movement affirmitive but benefit from it. I know that opportunities for education and other life areas of life is generally measured quanitatively and qualitatively more difficult for African American women in many aspects of what is European-American Relations (White) Male. African American Men really have the worst odds of any minority group, when it comes to college, the likelihood of incarciration, European-American etc. Men have long tried to say that the action affrimitive harmed, and I would be wary of treating any group that was hurting his chances affirmitive action by ethnicity, class, gender, religion and sexual orientation play a role in the chances of a successful person in life and we must analyze these pieces together, not separately. I would say that the class currently affecting people as much as ethnicity, class and will advance to the next race in the discriminator higher in the U.S. in the 21st century, but that's my opinion based on what I've seen and read.
