How to buy and sell cars for profit

Buying and selling cars is an easy business. This is because most people do not want problems selling a car lot. Even cleaned up, and it only wants to get rid of the damn thing and will sell for a lower price. All you have to do is make a company reasonable investment, and you can start with a vehicle that you can clean up and sell the following weekend for a good profit.

In my twenties I worked with a guy who began buying and selling used cars on the side. We must be very good friends. Her name was Kelly, and both worked for a company that distributes wholesale-car accessories. There were one or two other guys in the company who were doing the same thing. But no one did as well as Kelly, was in the process a science. It was rare when he clung to a car more than two weeks, and most were sold the first weekend that was for sale.

It was not Kelly long before I quit the job and buying and selling cars full time for life. That's what I loved to do. Its owner was the owner of a large amount of dirt on a street with traffic pretty well and let him put their vehicles out there with a "sold" on them. I always thought that was why it was so successful.

Years later, Kelly told me that the piece of land with the sign hardly ever sold a car, which almost did everything with Auto Trader ad. I asked him what his secret and blew a small worn blue notebook with pages of scribbled notes. In front was a checklist that all cars had to buy and sell pass. He jokingly referred to as the "Kelly Blue Book value of the car," a pun on the famous Kelley Blue Book (the industry standard for used car values.)

The end result was, it was only after certain high-demand vehicles and had to meet certain criteria (and he is able to buy them at market value). Its main objective was 10 years old Honda Accord with 4 doors and Japanese mini trucks. They had run well, have a current record label, have a straight body and good tires. The best prospects were dirty and had stained the carpet and / or broken front seats.

Cars that met his criterion could be easily cleaned and have new seat covers thrown in addition to the stained carpet for very nice fix. Because the sellers did not anticipate that nice clean car that I could buy cheap and clean because they did so well that it could sell quickly. That was the trick. Follow the example of Kelly and you can have a good car buying and selling business on his own.
