The American Academy of Dermatology has revealed that on average, adult Americans use at least seven different cosmetic products or cosmetic products daily.
The thing is that products like shampoos, colognes, deodorants, moisturizers and other cosmetics have become part of the daily routine of the population and are considered personal needs today.
Cosmetics are mostly used to enhance beauty and some people have become so dependent on them to become part of lifestyle.
Without further explanation, is clear and understood that there are several specified ingredients in cosmetic products that function as antigens, or substances to cause allergic reactions such as perfumes and preservatives.
Allergies cosmetics, are not so common. However, experts and studies have shown that, on average, about 10% of the population of the country have the training or experience a form of cosmetic allergy within their lives.
But it would be logical to say that women are more prone to experience cosmetics allergy than men.
Symptoms of allergy to cosmetic
Basically, there are only two major skin reactions showing clearly the onset of allergy cosmetics. These are allergic contact dermatitis and irritant contact dermatitis.
The most common manifestation of allergies to cosmetics is inflammation in the area of infected skin. The redness and swelling occur affected site, and most of the time, the two symptoms are carried out with itching mild or severe.
