I have an old leather wallet Moroccan camels. How can I restore the elasticity of the skin?
My mother gave me a camel leather handbag Moroccan who was given as a child. I'm interested in it out of my closet for his incredible vintage appeal, but the leather is a bit dry. still a little flexible, but i dont want to carry out without returning their original elasticity. They also wonder what kind of treatment that could put on it to protect the environment if I do get it out. any suggestions? seiners is beautifully carved in everything I do not know if that would affect the way they should care for him.
I restore vintage handbags all the time and the best treatment to clean and freshen, but also revive leather (animal whatever the wine!) is probably to "polish", not with some neutral (ie, color) shoe polish – but not wax cream. To fully restore your bag, you may need to apply the cream after polishing off a few more times to achieve the desired effect. Hope this helps! PS the fact that the leather bag was carved not affect the product you must use it, but I must warn the cream may decide "stagnation" in parts smaller and more complex design which means you can have a quite work it out away during the polishing phase (s) – some cotton swabs may be helpful if this occurs!
