A double Repeat Blooming Hydrangea Blooms
Hydrangea Forever and Ever Double Pink is a beautiful new introduction for 2006, just one Japanese breeder and is very floriferous and long blooming.
As the popular Endless Summer Hydrangea, Forever and Ever Double Pink blooms on the old and new wood and blooms repeatedly throughout the season. As two single pink flower petals to make a group undulating mound 6 inches which almost completely cover the plant when it flowers. Clutter usually reaches about 24-30 inches in height and grows about 36 "wide.
Forever and Ever Double Pink compact habit makes it perfect for containers or small gardens. The fact that it blooms on new wood, it is ideal for northern areas where traditionally difficult to hydrangeas bloom.
Planting and maintenance
- For best results, plant in early spring to late summer.
- Prefers an area of shade and morning sun afternoon.
- Undertake best in a soil damp but not wet. Add the wet ground If you think the ground is very dry.
- Plants at the top of the rootball is half inch below the soil surface.
- In the most beautiful flowers in shades of pink, use Chesapeake Blue Crab Compost, with a handful of Bulb-Tone and a handful lime at planting.
- Top-dress with a handful Bulb-Tone and acidic soils, a handful of lime every year in late November and early March.
- Hardy in zones 5 to 9.
