Abani Sen master password
We live and serve that portion of time which are placed in the life of the artist Abani Sen place in a hectic, catastrophic disturbance period of Indian history. The time that poses many challenges for all Indians color and appeal. The most important was to unite India as a nation of people to fight against the degradation of British imperialist yoke.
The year 1905 in Indian history, is important. It was the year of the first partition of Bengal. Also, enforcement in Bengal politics of divide and rule by the British imperialists. But also from Indian nationalism against British rule. In this year of political turmoil Abani Sen born artist than sterling contribution to the art of the period was considerable. Somehow, it seems to have been sent opaque, the existence nearly forgotten in the annals of art of the period. Although we know much about his contemporaries Famous students of art and art history seems almost unaware of its contribution at least outside of Bengal. Vijay Lakshmi Dogra to soft-spoken gentle owner of the Gallery Art Indus in Delhi should be grateful to remove the dust of time on art Abani Sen organizing A major exhibition of his work and carry out a bequest of books produced by professionals whispered edited by Ina Puri.
Returning to the context of the times in which aesthetics Abani Sen fought through their creativity. We know that the first five decades of the twentieth century was full upheaval and trauma for humanity. The first partition of Bengal and Bengal galvanized the rest of India in a nationalistic fervor and led Birth of Swadeshi Movement. It was during this period that the Indian National Congress emerged as a pan of India entity to fight for freedom the yoke of slavery British Imperial.
You must be familiar with other catastrophic events until independence of India from British rule. The First World War and Great Depression of 1920 wreaked havoc on the population and especially the peasants. Unfortunately for Bengal increased not only by the Second World War, but greater was the misery of people because of the artificial or rather the British Raj made the Bengal famine of 1943-1944. Nearly 4 million people died of starvation, sexual abuse of civilian and military leaders of starving women and girls is side the lounge of the inhumanity inflicted. How artists could stay out of this chain of social psyche castrate disruption of a proud old people?
At the beginning of Bengal and in the day Save Bengal after Avante artists explored new perspectives, new styles and expressions to translate the chaos in the village of innocent land. Artists who work during this time, especially Nandlal Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, Hemen Majumdar, Ram Kinkara Baijo, Pradosh Das Gupta, BB Mukherjee, Abani Sen Nirod Majumdar Gobardhan Ash, Chitta Prasad, Zainul Abedin, Somnath Hore and much more to give a new freshness, national and social concern of Bengal. The last three artists to paint the Bengal famine, with power and telling effect.
Abani Sen has inherited the political status and socio-economic time during which He has been witness and victim. His early art does not focus on the representation of the dark events of the time. Abani has chosen to work through the evocation and metaphor. He did not paint directly on the pain and suffering of the people as did Chittò Prasad, Zainul Abedin, Somnath Hore and others. Painted your subconscious. Like a child who had grown up in the green nature of the land embraced Bengal. It is based on that, as a source of his art forever. He painted landscapes, animals and birds of the people in the street. Not openly reporting the events of the time. However, in a subtle representation moods transmitted to sadness and melancholy that the whole society inhabited. His management of the pictorial space agitated, use the line black and gray, and whimsical, but suggestive of China and the Japanese style of delivery provided a gloomy mood.
Bulls, horses, elephants, birds and the family of the lion (1968) re-draw the character of animals and their states of mind at the last minute. There is strong element of expressionism in many depictions of animals, especially when working with watercolors.
Abani Sen art was influenced by a variety of movements and styles. You can find the appearance of the bathers of Cézanne in his 1962 oil painting or touching simplicity and directness of naive art folk in 1962's ink drawing of a woman holding a chicken. Beyond his work meets a minimum of manipulation and control of the line as a master Zen (page 48 watercolors in Whispered Legacy). It also uses the simplified linear geometric means pastors in 1965, watercolor. Apart from KS Kulkarni is the resonance of this division of geometric shapes in the work of Prof. Niren Sen Gupta and young artist Neeraj Goswami.
A question Abani Sen, persistent and recurrent painted the mother and child. It focused on the gestural representation of the line to transmit the soft mother-child relationship. Your man with a rose and the woman sitting in a landscape (page 29) is a masterpiece of expression, modern and exquisite emotions. His 1968 watercolor of a lion family is a powerful work. We must understand that all the works of great artists are not masterpieces, if you talk about Picasso or Hussain. Efforts will be necessary to sacrifice the best of Abani Sen and focus on their creative adventure that was not only modern but with vision. There are traces of the Academy in several of his works, but they are the foundation of his art.

As for work detail is there, the size of a half-year (works on pages 11, 27, 34-35, 48, 66-67). There is an error in lines 12-14, the third paragraph on page 17. Abani Sen has been much married and father of four children. If I understand correctly Abani Sen once married and never married a bit like Picasso, Bertrand Russell or Salman Rushdie.
These failures may be treated in the next printing of the book. Although you can say that some archival photographs from the period of Abani Sen are really valuable. They are also analysis and useful suggestions to the employer by Abani Sen Santo Dutta, saturated childhood memories of Lochan Prof.Rajiv Saksena Ranvir detail of its father, another student shows the teacher's comments on art KK Nair and his son Abani Ranjan Sen compassionate memories of his father. It is unfortunate another student Manjit Bawa brilliant and famous (Abani led by his elder brother, Manmohan Singh) is gravely ill. Where can I go to see or get a print of Picasso Head of a woman, painted in 1903 in Barcelona?
There are some pictures of that name, O'm looking, but was painted in 1903, is blue and it is just the face of a Mediterranean looking woman with long black hair that looks out for painting in the viewer. It was last registered as being purchased by the Kunstmuseum Bern in 1984. I saw the Picasso Museum in Paris to 1999.
