Plot summary
Dorothy "Dolly" Douglas Hardesty is a spoiled rich widow half-age – and the daughter of a former president of the United States. When Dolly was a child, a staff member cleaning the White House gave a beautiful replica of the White House, but Dolly, then twelve years, was considered too old for a toy. Only later in life – after her parents died, the loss of her husband, and a series of bitter disappointments – Dolly does turn to dolls of the White House. It quickly became obsessed with recreating the present From the White House in miniature, until the doll overlooked the White House has become one of the most expensive, comprehensive and dollhouses famous worldwide.
Enter Roger Tinker a government scientist thirty-something unemployed who, in his time working for Uncle Sam, invented the minimizer: a laptop, a camera Photo sized device that can reduce objects. Intellectually gifted but socially inept, Tinker believes that you can use the gearbox to win the heart – and wallet – Miniature Dolly fans. Instead, he manipulates Tinker, both psychological and sexual, in a series of shocking crimes.
Dolly an angry woman, used ruthless intimidation of people to let her do what she wants.
