How to soften new skin western saddle?
Hi all! I just bought a new Western Show saddle (silver) and want to know their methods to soften up. Thanks for all your answers!
Presumably you have a saddle rack … Put your saddle on the rack. You will need a broom handle and a little water, preferably in a spray bottle. *** Apply water in the basement, NOT the upper surface of the skin. Put water in higher grain and discolor treated waterspot .*** finishing spray the back of the fender, turn the handle as they would if they went and put the broom through of them. Let dry. Or you could spray them wet, saddle his horse and dry. That would be my preference.
