Why are the largest birds flap slower than the smaller birds? Why not to use unmanned aircraft to generate lift and flutter push?
The flapping motion is a function of the size of the wings. The bigger the bird, the slower the flap and vice versa. Watch the hummingbird – a small, thin wings flapping faster than you can see. The flight of birds has been studied by men and scientists for centuries. The first attempts at manned flight tried to imitate the movements of the bird. Most all of them failed. A bird has a structure hollow bone takes its power to weight ratio much higher than any man can build. Flapping wings to fly also leads to a speed limitation maximum – of flight beyond the sound barrier thus impossible not to mention speed close to that. God created birds to fly, but not men, so, we must use alternative methods to get us through the air and beyond.
