What is economy class (haha) I got a list of some markets, but tell me who will recommend. * * Spitilfields Greenwich Portobello Market Road Market * Market Camden Market * * * * SOHO Charing Cross Road, Regent Street, Oxford Street * * Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea, and Oh BTW, I'm clothes jewelry, a little girl bag and go to spring. Hopefully these details will help you narrow your choices.
My three favorite markets in London – First there Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill. To get there, you have the option of two underground stations: Ladbroke Grove (Hammersmith & City) or Notting Hill Gate, which is in the Central, Circle and District lines. In one of the stations there are many signs to guide you to the market. The market is open 8:00-6:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-1:00, Thursday and Saturday 8:00-6:30. Market is best known for its antiques and curios, but do not be fooled by that reputation. On Saturday, you can find almost anything in the world here. The market is huge and very busy on Saturday to arrive early and give you a couple of hours. Not only can you find the items you want in this market, but you can also get fresh produce and make cheap meals to stretch their Budget Travel. I also like to explore this region Notting Hill, while I am in the market and visit the coffee shops, fish and chips places and bookstores. This is a big part of the city. I got some of my favorite unique portfolio here. Secondly, I would recommend Camden Lock Market, Camden Town, is open 7 days a week 10-6. To get here take the Northern Line to Camden Town. I was always told that Monday is a great day for the market, although I've been several times on dates different and not noticed a big difference. http://www.camdenlockmarket.com is an excellent resource for information on the market and distributors. I really like this market because it is so eccentric! Camden Town can be a little intimidating if you are a tourist conservative, but still a must. Great things are sold here are clothing, accessories, home decor, memorabilia, art and music / movies. Finally, Petticoat Lane Market which is probably the best market for clothing. This market is located in Middlesex Street and Wentworth Street and can be contacted by one of Aldgate East and Aldgate underground stations Liverpool Street. The market is open from Monday to Friday from 10am-2: 30pm and Sunday from 9-2. For clothing specifically take the tube Oxford Circus and Bank Street and walk along the many different shops of Oxford Street! On one side of Oxford Circus Underground is an H & M and Topshop, 2 clothing stores of my favorite clothes and good and cheap accessories. But along Oxford Street, there is everything from designer boutiques to Peep tacky souvenir shops, well worth the detour. I really do not fancy, Greenwich Market, which is small and mostly antiques and prices used in jewelry. Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea are too luxurious and expensive for my taste. Cheers!
