The following is a brief story about an elderly couple who were abandoned by their children and families to fend for themselves. After working for several decades to raise his family, all they had in return were the debts and mortgages, which seemed impossible to solve, since it could no longer afford to pay. They owned nothing except his house, which they cherish the memories he gave them.
