Handle Tote
It is easy to create your own reusable bag or purse. All you need is a hard material (such as heavy calico) and some paintings Cotton or braid for handles.
Suitable fabrics and notions
As mentioned above, you should choose a resistant material such as cotton or calico resistant. To make a bag you'll need half a yard of fabric (assuming the Fabric width is 43 "or larger). Metric for sewers ½ yards of fabric if the fabric is at least 106cm wide.
It May also be worth investing in a quality wire, you can take some heavy elements in his bag, and can not afford to have interruption in your bag because of the quality of cheap son!
For handles, I recommend cotton belt or braid about 1 cm wide (2.5 cm). You will have 48 "of the band (or 122 cm).
To make your model

To compensate
Basically, the long piece of fabric must be sewn on three sides of each rectangle (as shown in this diagram target = "_blank"> www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-sew.gif). Place a rectangle on the side A of the length (right side), and to start Sewing. Stitch slowly turning the corners of the rectangle. I recommend that you sew each seam twice for extra strength, especially in the corners.
Now attach your bag with handles and sew by sewing a rectangle, then sew a cross in the middle (see diagram www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-handles.gif). Again, it would be prudent double point of these unions.
No matter if it is granted, the handles inwards or outwards, depends on you. And it everything. Very simple.
