I have small children, but my blessing, I have passed the stage of the diaper bag. However, they still tend to carry a medium to larger bag when children are at all, because I always get the "here mom, take this" Where ever we go. you crazy is not it!

Now, they are the super small evening bags that I just have not figured out why anyone bothers. You may can fit your lipstick on them if you're lucky. I guess it's all in the eye. I am the practical type, so do not get it! There are plenty of reasonable size bags night that look great. Now, ladies, I must say that many of the bags just buy when it should not. I've seen them so full of things that are distorted. Break and buy a bag larger. They look much cleaner and let's see you carry the big bag, not a disaster.
Gone are the days of mothers with large bag with its contents including the kitchen sink. You know, bring the first aid kit, sewing kit, scissors, etc like my mom does. Oh, and need plenty of pockets for all those things that make it difficult to find the keys they know not what is in the pocket of my mother experienced a grandmother and I suppose he feels he still has to carry everything.
