Painted glass plates provide an excellent way to add charm and personal touch to your next dinner. Why not canapés served on plates with designs that meet with tastes appetizers' exciting? If you want to try something creative, a painting project on glass can satisfy their thirst for art, and the best place to start is with food every day.
Getting Supplies
Before you begin, you want to appear in your local store source art and collect certain basic elements. You will need brushes, paints and alcohol. Artist brush any type will do, but be sure to get some kids to the smallest details of their creation. Alcohol is necessary to prepare the surface of the plate.
When it comes to painting, you have many options. The best option is thermosetting paint which are cooked in the oven to create a durable surface. For items to handle and clean, it is a much better option than air drying paints. You may also need models, ribbon and a sponge. Some craft stores sell kits for painting on glass that come with many of these items, including design templates for you to crawl. Templates are great for the less artistically inclined. Try to choose the drawings and paintings that match the colors of your kitchen or dining room and decor. It adds an extra touch unlikely that your guests will notice.
Painting of Plates
