Guess Zoo
We love the zoo. Opening in 1971, is among the top 20 zoos in the country.
Out Zoo is nationally recognized and is among the best by visitors and visitors as civil servants. This place is home to something like over 2000 different animals at large (mostly) fair in the wild. So many things to do and to see a whole day could easily invest in this zoo. Admission is a great value for the entertainment of all you get.
Upon entering the zoo right after the Cargill Learning Center, which will happen in a multitude of colorful Pink Flamingos, one of which is gone, but still very People as seen in different regions. The zoo has everything from stroking a pet area with animals and the issues around the world in exotic animals places to dine and rest from all the walking you do.
It seems that almost every year there are many new things done in the zoo County Sedgwick this year is the year of the tiger. A new tiger exhibit open spectacular. Some of the newest and really cool places include forest Downing Gorilla, and recently opened one of my favorites, the Penguin Cove and housing for the king of the jungle. The last exhibition that you see on the output is the orang-utan and chimpanzee Koch-Habitat, you guessed it, orang-utans and chimpanzees.
The zoo is divided into sections worldwide. Almost all continents are represented by animals that live there. There are in North America brown bears, otters and wolves. A forest of America South Australia and the kangaroos and animals of Asia. Africa is the largest of large mammals. There are hippos, elephants, giraffes, rhinos and other expenses are visiting.
Birds, rodents and other small mammals are abundant in various exhibitions. Much of colorful parrots and small creatures running directly interact with visitors as you walk outdoors. Good work has been done to place animals in a natural and spacious.
Regardless of all the large animals to be seen and heard, the zoo also offers different programs. Zoobilee is a concert and the largest event fundraiser of the year. It is also famous all these parties as the place to be and be seen. In Zoobilee lot of food and beverages for adults had. Around Halloween each year there is the Night of the Living Zoo. A night to celebrate Halloween in style. There are events around the holidays, a night creature films feature shows the Cargill Learning Center and many other special events throughout the year.
This zoo is really something you should see. If your time in the city or even near worth the trip. Our world-class Sedgwick County Zoo is one of many attributes of Wichita, Kansas to be proud.
