Larnaca, Cyprus could be described as a complex whole. This is an important city, town and station, all in one. It also houses the islands main airport and have a great selection of shops too. Add to this a beautiful marina, with the main port of Larnaca in Cyprus and it seems to have much to offer tourists and residents. Before it started with the historic buildings, including a medieval fortress and several other buildings on the list. There are also several modern industrial estates on the edges of the district and a thriving commercial center as well. There is a modern promenade filled with coffee bars connected to the sea front, restaurants and fast food chains compulsory for young people.
The beach of Larnaca is one of the best in Cyprus and in fact it is man made but had not imagined. Most restaurants and cafes run off the beach to make the place perfect for relaxing with stunning views. It is a pleasant walk from the Larnaca marina, on the edge of the medieval fortress on the other. Travers the road from the marina is an open gallery small paved area and a beautiful built around a fountain. Some buildings in Larnaca-old centuries and many have been carefully restored to its former glory. A short walk to some quaint alleys behind the main promenade reveal many more are awaiting renewal.
Larnaca history goes back further than most any other part of Cyprus and the city is occupied continuously since the Bronze Age. The city is built on the former site of Kition, which was actually a Once the capital of the whole of Cyprus. The Legend has it that the hometown of Kition was founded by the little son of Noah and the connections of the Bible does not stop there. The church San Lazaro Larnaca, on the spot is actually the name of Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead. The legend says that after the resurrection Lazarus traveled to Cyprus, where he became the first bishop islands. The church is indeed deemed to have been built on its tomb, and visitors can descend into the tombs below the building. Like most churches in Cyprus Larnaca church is beautifully decorated with icons and elaborate decoration.
Ideally located only some few kilometers from the city airport has become a dynamic prosperous community. In 1974, after the Turkish invasion and subsequent occupation of Northern Cyprus Larnaca proposed to accommodate 40,000 refugees. These displaced persons tripled its population of 65,000 people then. With a big way to all resorts and the capital Nicosia, the city is perfectly located for those wishing to visit the sights of many islands. With the recent boom in home buying holiday Larnaca became an access point property. All coastal cities like Oroklini make ideal settings in which they own an apartment or villa and prices are still fairly reasonable compared to other parts of Cyprus. In fact, many countries are buying homes and selling homes in these places because of uniqueness of the city which in turn is creating a few major sites.
With so much to Larnaca is not a surprise that is affected by much as the next area of Cyprus property boom. In this spirit, many speculators are investing in the plan to purchase these new developments. His plan is to exploit the growing market for sale when the developments were completed. The speculation is motivated by the proposals a modern marina for mooring yachts and luxury golf development possible. Sun Golf and property are all speculators mantra is therefore bound to affect values. If the area was more than enough to offer new proposals and would make an investors dream come true. So maybe if you are looking to invest in a place where the sun should take a look at Larnaca in Cyprus.
