Rudolf Stingel was born in 1956 in Merano, Italy, currently lives and works in New York. Stingel said that in its usual sense is not presented, surprisingly beautiful way. For your sixth show with Cooper since 1994, Stingel – that would be one of my first choices for the next Whitney Biennial – has left this temple-like empty space, except by a wide gallery floor made of particle board painted white.
If you know Stingel work, you know it's not a smart stop-the-blank gallery Ruse, or a matter of time until flattering to his dealer (although all the artists are able to do so). In fact, this exhibition is Stingel as subversive and surprising as always. In 2002, he covered the walls of the gallery in silver insulation panels and allowed people to mark up any way. In 1997, involved the floor with plush carpet and placed a great perforated blue foam from the main screen, near the entrance. Before that, he published an "instruction" book that explains how to make his abstract paintings. His unforgettable 1991 New York debut consisted of a bright orange rug in an otherwise empty gallery. Went one of the best shows of painting 1990s.The like domain as any photo-realist painting is by Stingel. The woman is Paula Cooper. The overall effect is for celebration, revelatory, sly and joins one of the best shows of the season.

Conclusions:
Rudolf Stingel said. "Artists have always been accused of being decorative. I just went to the extremes." Basically, Stingel has always gone to extremes, making handsome self-referential paintings.
