The dependence of U.S. foreign oil is a source of many violent conflicts, and pollution emitted by the intensive use of fossil fuels contributes significantly to global warming and environmental pollution affects the health of our families. The ability to weaning ourselves off fossil fuels, there is, as biofuels are an alternative and environmentally sustainable, but its use has never been applied to large-scale U.S.. Perhaps the new government can recognize that this is more than saving money or creating new jobs, and the only way to create a sustainable future.
Normally, a pioneer in new technologies, the United States is far behind as regards the use of biofuels. Much of Europe uses these biofuels, many countries, generating at least one quarter of its heat from this source. Sweden is heated over thirty-five per cent of households, businesses and other buildings, use biofuels and operation of boiler operator with an amazingly effective ninety percent. Given the great steps taken by many other nations, it is difficult to understand why we have not taken similar measures.
