Punk Hairstyles – the strange things in colors that you see in shops, villages and black-painted teenage bedrooms! I'm not a punk and have never been one, but I've always been fascinated by the general appearance and punk ideology – probably because I was a teenager at the time that punk exploded, kicking, screaming, insults and spitting popular culture.
Punk took off as a means of power and the trend of music in the mid-1970s, largely through the efforts High Profile British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and crown princes of punk – Sex Pistols. The Pistols were managed at the time of Malcolm McLaren, Westwood was a teammate of (personal and professional) and the mixture of the folly of these 3 forces gave rise to what became a global phenomenon.
Unique aspect of the Sex Pistols has been largely created by Westwood, the use of zippers, rips, chains, bondage, porn and slogans. Fashion lightly beaten against the provisions of the feelings of the era and punk hairstyles were a reflection of the clothes and attitudes – unwashed, anarchic and spiky.
