When people think of Eddie Bauer who think that clothes are fashionable and hip. What they do not know is that Eddie Bauer is actually a company that is now eighty eight. Hard to believe but true. Eddie Bauer was formed in 1920 as Eddie Bauer Sport Shop in Seattle Washington. Eddie Bauer name of the company since the beginning focused on sportswear and winter clothing. He invented the parka for the first in 1936. The company even produced more than 50,000 B-9 flight parka for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
For much of his early Eddie Bauer story focuses on sports and winter clothing segments of the apparel industry. Their clothes will be used to equip All K-2 climbing expeditions to trekking across Antarctica.
In 1968, but things will change. This year that Eddie Bauer to sell the business to his friend and partner William Niemi and his son. This was also the year the company opened its first store outside Seattle to San Francisco to be chosen as the location.
