Can anyone identify this citrus?
My friend has a tree in his garden in Phoenix that comes with a label that says "mandarins". After six years has increased, and finally the fruit but the fruit tastes terrible! They are yellow and look like a lemon and large size may be a little more larger than your average grocery store lemon. They are very juicy and sweet, but terribly bitter. You know, somewhere between lemon and grapefruit really bad, more bitter as any I've tasted of grapefruit. Then I ate one, seemed to give me a stomach ache. I would try to extract the juice mixed with orange and my too sweet, but I'm not so sure. Does anyone have an idea of what these might be?
