Blue Tang & Their Friends saltwater aquarium
The hit animated film for kids 'Finding Nemo' has made of the already popular Blue Tang one of the most popular saltwater aquarium fish at all. In the film, one of the main characters is a spike of colors, playful and forgetful blue Dory name. Since the release of this film seems like every boy wants his own saltwater aquarium with your own Dory and Nemo and each pair of parents are faced with the decision whether to allow it to have. This film has had an enormous impact on the aquarium because for the first time in the eyes of the general public fish are considered to have a personal.
So what Dory Tang and his other friends in reality?
Tang is an oval, a fish that is flat when viewed from the front. The spikes have only a small spine on each side of caudal peduncle (just before the tail) that can be extended if required for self-defense. The Paracanthurus hepatus Blue Tang is also known as a Regal Tang and is a common salt water fish found in coral reefs often feed in large schools algae and zooplankton. The blue tang is undoubtedly the most popular species of Tang, bold color and active nature miserably and it is a temptation for all fans. This fish is very widely distributed and is found on many reefs in the world, most often in Australia. It is sweet, fast growing and can reach approximately 30 inches long.
This fish is well known that it is the choice of sleeping arrangements as they usually get into some of the positions bazaar and look more uncomfortable when you retire for the night, often at the same time each day regardless of whether the light is on or off. Another common behavior this fish is a habit of lying on the bottom of the tank as if he's dead. This is often pointed out to me by the children while I'm working at an aquarium store retail. This fish tends to be very easy to maintain and often I find my first choice when recommending an ear to any aquarium.
The Brown Scopas Tang Zebrasoma Scopas rarely is expensive and is very good to maintain, as it is very resistant and has all the same behaviors of the yellow tang but it is a bit more timid. This fish is commonly available in Australia, but not so commonly sold because As its name indicates, is bold in color, so it is not a fish prized in the hobby. This fish is very good for beginners and has beautiful blue dial if you look up very close to the fish.
Purple Tang Zebrasoma xanthurus is from the Red Sea is very similar to the yellow tang but much more expensive, rare and aggressive. Most aquarium stores are lucky to get these fish a few times a year and sells it shares very quickly because they are easy to care for and a real new to many aquarists patient.

When the fish is small, has a beautiful orange color, but as it grows, it takes on more of a boring one-shoulder greenish orange. There are many fish in the Tang and the family of the surgeon who is worth considering as additions to the tank. The size, strength, aggression, rarity and price are factors to be taken into account in their decision making.
